We’ll grow the flowers, you bring a photographer. There is something about flowers that just makes you glow.

We try our best to have flowers blooming from February until November. Early in the season our tulips are blooming in the greenhouse, then starting in late April the outdoor gardens come to life. Here are some of our favorite places for garden portraits and key seasons to consider when booking your reservation.

Peony Garden - this garden has early and late spring peonies and is on the north side of our farm. Prime bloom time is May and early June.

Rose Garden - this garden is made up of a wide selection of garden roses. Prime bloom time is June, mid August, and late September to mid October. The sun sets behind the roses and lavender so golden hour is our favorite time to shoot here.

Lavender Garden - this garden has English and French lavender that blooms from mid June to end of July, although photographing after harvest is also lovely.

Dahlia Garden - this garden has dahlias planted in an array of colors that bloom from August until the first frost (typically mid Oct). The best time to photograph here is on the weekends because we harvest all the flowers on Monday and Wednesdays, then allow them to rebloom over the weekend. This makes the weekend prime time for the most color.

Woodies - this garden has rows of raspberries, bushes, and shrubs. We love to photography here spring through fall with tall foliage shots.

Annuals - this garden is full of zinnias, lisianthus, marigolds, and more. It hits full bloom in late August until first frost (typically mid October).

Orchard - this is the area where the hen house is located and has the beginning of our small family orchard. There are only a few fruit trees so the word orchard is a little bit of a stretch but its a shaded area leading to the barn and greenhouse.
